Registering for the SCCJR student portal couldn't be easier.

Simply fill in the form below and click 'submit'. A moderator will check your registration to ensure you are not a spammer, and you will be approved for using the website. Once approved, you will automatically receive your password via email, which will not be easy to remember but you can then change this once you have logged in.

Then tell us a bit about yourself by completing a profile and add a photo.  Then it up to you....Start a blog, add a news item, add a discussion post, post details of an event, add an item to resources. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE A SHORT DELAY BEFORE NEWS, EVENTS AND RESOUCES APPEAR ON THE SITE - AS WE NEED TO APPROVE THESE FIRST.

Discussion and information posted by participants reflect the views of individual participants only. The SCCJR and affiliated universities bear no responsibility for accuracy of participant comments and will bear no legal liability for discussion results.

The following rules govern the SCCJR student portal.Please read carefully before participating. Your use of the portal will constitute your agreement to comply with these rules:

If you participate in a discussion, you are responsible for ensuring that any material you post to the portal (text, images, or other multimedia content) does not violate or infringe upon the copyright, patent, trademark or any other personal or proprietary rights of any third party, and is posted with the permission of the owner of such rights.
  2. You agree not to use any obscene or offensive language or to place on the SCCJR portal any material that is libelous, abusive, or hateful, constitutes junk mail or unauthorized advertising, invades anyone's privacy, or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law or regulation. You agree to use the SCCJR portal only for lawful purposes.
  3. To maintain the discussion forums, moderators may remove messages.
  4. Material posted on SCCJR student portal is for your personal use only. You may not in any way make commercial or other unauthorized use, by publication, re-transmission, distribution, or otherwise, of material obtained through the SCCJR student portal, except as permitted by the Copyright Act or other law.

We will not sell or pass on your private details that we hold about you. All details held are required for the day-to-day running of the SCCJR student portal. However we reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.
